Let your journal hold what your heart can’t carry alone
Journaling is not about writing the “right” thing. It’s about writing what’s real. It’s a practice of listening inward—even when the voice inside is trembling.
Here are three gentle do’s to help your practice become sacred, not stressful:
1. Do ask “what’s true right now?”
Forget the story. Drop the mask. What are you actually feeling?
2. Do follow your curiosity.
Instead of judgment, ask: “Where did this belief come from?” “What part of me needs my love?”
3. Do let it be messy.
Your journal is not a performance. It’s a permission slip. Scribble. Cry. Burn pages if you must. It’s all holy.
Try this prompt:
✍ “If I could tell the whole truth and still be loved, I would say...”
Remember: your journal is a mirror, not a verdict. Keep writing toward your freedom.
